It can be used on the skin and mucous membranes. Emollient: softens swollen areas and accumulated materials. It can be used to treat boils and abscesses. Laxative: helps in constipation problems. It also helps in affections of the urinary tract. It is recommended in cases of gastritis, enteritis, stomatitis and gastroduodenal ulcer. It can be used as an expectorant to relieve coughs, colds, and more serious problems such as bronchitis or the like. Root infusion: take a teaspoon of the dried root (15 g), crumble it and boil it in a cup of water. Let it rest for 10 minutes. You can take 2 to 3 cups of this infusion a day.
