Preparing and applying the plaster The substrate to be filled should be firmly bound, dry, free of grease, loose plaster grains, and free of dust. Pour the intended amount of dry plaster into a container of water (approximately 1 kg per 0.35 l of water), stirring constantly. Mix the contents of the container thoroughly, preferably using a low-speed drill with a basket mixer, until a homogeneous, easy-to-apply mass is obtained. Stir again after approximately 10 minutes. The mixed plaster is suitable for use for approximately 2-3 hours at +20°C. Apply layers approximately 3mm thick using a putty knife, stainless steel trowel, or plastic trowel (the next layer should be applied after the previous one has dried), with local defects up to 3cm thick. Sand the dry surface with sandpaper or mesh and remove dust. Recommended abrasive grit 100. Paint with silicate paint after a minimum of 5 days or with another paint after 4 weeks.
