Overspeed Signal: The ElM Plus monitors the speed signal from the magnetic sensor. Overspeed setpoints are in default set to 55 Hz for 50 Hz units and 66 Hz for 60 Hz units. This can be adjusted using the adjustment screw that is accessed through the hole next to the overspeed setting LED. When the engine is running at rated speed, 1500 rpm at 50 Hz and 1800 rpm at 60 Hz, adjust the adjusting screw until the overspeed setting LED just goes out.
