DC Motor Speed Controller 6V 12V 24V 20A Forward Reverse Limit Relay Lift Control Board

Product Description Key benefits Reliable self-locking control (PO version): pressing the external forward switch (K1) starts forward motor rotation and the motor continues running even after K1 is released. The motor only stops when it reaches a designated reverse turn signal (K2) or the forward turn stop signal (SW1), preventing unintended interruptions during motion. Clear, fail-safe limit behavior: limit signals act as latched stop triggers. A brief limit signal during forward rotation immediately stops movement and keeps it stopped even if the limit clears, reducing risk of repeated unwanted motion until an intentional restart is given. Easy integration with standard sensors and control wiring: signals are active low and compatible with three-wire NPN normally-open (NPN-NO) sensors. Inputs K1, K2, SW1, SW2 all follow this specification for straightforward wiring and consistent behavior. Function and operation PO (self-locking) mode: when K1 (external forward switch) is actuated the motor runs forward. Releasing K1 does not interrupt the forward rotation — the controller maintains the forward output until a defined stop condition occurs. Stop conditions: forward rotation halts only when the reverse turn signal (K2) or the forward turn stop signal (SW1) is activated. Limit/stop signals: treated as trigger-type, level-activated stops. If a limit signal is received during forward motion, the movement stops and remains stopped even after the limit signal is removed. To resume forward motion, the forward rotation signal must be issued again. Signal requirements and compatibility Signal logic: active low inputs. Sensor compatibility: supports three-wire NPN normally-open (NPN-NO) sensors. Inputs that comply: K1, K2, SW1, SW2 conform to the active-low/NPN-NO specification for reliable sensor and switch connections. Performance and reliability Predictable, latched stop behavior prevents accidental re-start after transient limit events. Self-locking forward mode simplifies operator interaction: a momentary press of K1 is sufficient to initiate and maintain forward motion until a genuine stop command is received. Consistent signal logic across inputs reduces wiring errors and simplifies integration with existing control systems. Typical applications Conveyor systems: start a conveyor with a momentary forward pushbutton (K1); conveyor continues until a downstream reverse or stop sensor (K2 or SW1) is reached, ensuring uninterrupted transfer of goods. Automated material handling: use NPN-NO proximity sensors as limit inputs to stop movement when a part reaches a defined position. A transient sensor signal will halt the system until a deliberate restart, preventing repeat passes. Packaging or indexing machines: integrate with PLCs and three-wire sensors for position-based stopping and reliable restart sequencing; inputs K1, K2, SW1, SW2 provide clear, consistent control points. Compatibility notes Ensure connected sensors and switches provide active-low outputs compatible with NPN-NO wiring. K1, K2, SW1, SW2 follow the same active-low input specification for uniform behavior across all control points. What this delivers to you Safer, more predictable motion control with self-locking forward operation and latched limit stops. Simplified wiring and sensor choices through supported active-low NPN-NO inputs. Practical behavior for industrial applications where brief or noisy limit signals must not cause unintended repeated motion.
