Connect the modem to your computer’s USB port. Connect the telephone line to the modem. If connecting a telephone, plug the line into the phone and connect an extension line from the phone’s port to the modem. 2. Install the driver: Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive. When the computer detects new hardware, select manual installation and browse to the appropriate folder on the CD (e.g., cx-fu07+/winxp).
