Versatile Resettable U-Lock

This U-shaped combination lock delivers consistent mechanical security in a portable form: 25 cm long, 12 mm shackle thickness, 1.2 kg weight. Constructed from hardened steel with rust-inhibiting surface treatment and a soft-touch rubber shackle cover for surface protection. The resettable 4-digit combination is user-defined and changeable at any time — provided the lock is open — supporting evolving household or workplace needs. Its intuitive interface removes barriers to adoption, especially among younger riders or less tech-confident users. Field-tested across varied UK and EU contexts: securing hybrid and e-bikes to railings in London boroughs; anchoring garden gates in rural Scotland; locking tool kits on construction trailers in Germany; and protecting scooters outside Dutch city offices — proving adaptability across climates, infrastructures and usage patterns.
