Description The Levenhuk 400T is a classic trinocular microscope with a binocular visual part and an additional vertical tube for installing a digital camera. The microscope is ideal for use in laboratories, enabling the study of biological and other samples in areas such as general medicine, microbiology, biochemistry and countless other applications. Achromatic optics and LED illumination ensure a flawless, well-lit display. Observations are possible using the brightfield and oil immersion methods. The microscope head can be rotated, which is very practical when working in a group. The visual part is tilted by 30 °, therefore makes for much more pleasant long-term observations. The 10x magnification wide-angle eyepiece provides an overview, and the achromatic optics bring out even tiny details clearly and sharply. The lenses with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification sit in a rotatable turret. The total magnification of the optics ranges from 40x to 1000x. With the 100x magnification lens, observations using the oil immersion method are possible. The 40x and 100x magnification lenses are spring-loaded to protect against collisions. The stage is equipped with a physical scale. Next to the table are knobs for coarse and fine focusing. Directly below is an Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder. The illumination system consists of an LED light source with a converging lens at the bottom of the microscope. The lighting can be adjusted in brightness, is powered by batteries or is powered by a power supply. The microscope housing is made of metal.
