Beginner Electronics Breadboard Kit

A purpose-built starter kit for UK learners beginning hands-on electronics. At its core lies an 830-tie-point solderless breadboard (16.5 × 5.5 × 0.9 cm), paired with a dedicated power supply module for stable voltage sourcing. Total packaged weight is approx. 420 g. Wiring infrastructure includes 65 solid-core jumper wires, 140 flexible solderless jumpers, and 20 female-to-male Dupont wires — supporting both point-to-point and modular connections. Two 40-pin pin headers enable expansion board integration. Sensing components: one precision potentiometer, two photoresistors, one thermistor. Discrete semiconductors: five 1N4007 diodes, two PN2222 transistors. ICs: one 4N35 optocoupler and one 74HC595 shift register. Audio output: one active buzzer (self-driven) and one passive buzzer (frequency-controllable). Ten tactile buttons provide user input. LED selection comprises ten red, green, blue, yellow, and white LEDs, plus one RGB LED. Capacitors: ten 22 pF and ten 104 (100 nF) ceramic types; five 1 µF/50 V and five 10 µF/50 V electrolytic capacitors. Resistors: ten values — 10 Ω, 100 Ω, 220 Ω, 330 Ω, 1 kΩ, 2 kΩ, 5.1 kΩ, 10 kΩ, 100 kΩ, and 1 MΩ — ten pieces per value.
