Description

Name: Single-axis Tracking Board Voltage: 5-5.5VDC Current: Less than 1.5A Interface: Power + - Motor M Principle: Uses a shield with photoresistors. When light creates a shadow on one side, a difference in light intensity between the two sides is detected, which controls the motor to adjust and find the balance point, aligning with the light source center. The board operates on a 5-5.5V DC power supply with current draw under 1.5A. A geared motor is recommended for optimal performance; slower motor speeds provide smoother tracking. Compatible with motors such as the JGY370 6V model, which runs stably at 5V under no load. If the motor rotates too quickly, minor oscillation may occur when aligning, but the circuit includes a short delay to reduce instability. Motor wires can be connected without polarity concern. If the motor rotates in the wrong direction, simply swap the motor wire connections. A regulated 5-5.5V power supply is required; do not connect directly to a solar panel.
