trap is a plastic device inserted between frames in a hive to trap Small Hive Beetles () and thereby protect healthy honeybee colonies. Designed to fit neatly between outer frames in a hive,hangs conveniently inside your hive over the frames. The holes in the top of trap are big enough to allow to enter, but cannot be accessed by honeycomb. The traps can be partly filled with cider vinegar with a layer of oil(mineral oil, vegetable oil,etc floating on top. cider vinegar or chopped banana peel are particularly attractive bait.
