OBO surge arrester V20, 3-pole + NPE 280V

The OBO Bettermann V20 surge arrester, 3-pole + NPE, 280 V (EAN 4012196386345), effectively protects your electrical system against overvoltages. This modular arrester is pluggable, features a disconnect device, and has a visual status indicator for monitoring. Each pole is equipped with high-performance varistors with a discharge capacity of up to 40 kA (8/20 µs). It is designed for DIN rail mounting (TH35) and offers certified safety according to VDE 0100-443 / IEC 60364-4-44. Further technical specifications: Nominal discharge current 20 kA (8/20), nominal voltage AC 230 V, protection class Type 2, IP20. The maximum permissible conductor cross-sections are 35 mm² (solid) or 1.5 mm² (stranded). Short-circuit withstand capability is 50 kA. Optionally, versions with a potential-free changeover contact for remote signaling are available, enabling convenient monitoring via control systems. This surge arrester reliably protects systems against overvoltage damage – ideal for residential and commercial applications.
